12 players decided they were NOT ready for the fantasy season to be over. Some conversation ensued and we have given birth to the HARDCORE LEAGUE here at FFWC.

hardcore.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=

This league will OFFICIALLY begin the 2014 FFWC ADP. These guys have no pre-set rankings made available to them, only alphabetical listings only. Now we're talking hardcore! Long term, I could actually envision a series of these leagues throughout the off-season as players try to get a jump start on the ADP "group think" that comes out. Why not have leagues at the $250 entry and add the $99 entry too?

For now though, let's talk about Hardcore #1.

Let's meet the participants:

1. Follow Me - Mark Moyer

2. Jethro - Jeff O'Dell

3. Blue Ox - Kyle Stein

4. Altadena Assassins - Kurt Kuekes

5. TH - Todd Hunter

6. Breakin A - Anne Paddock

7. Skanks - Paul Felker

8. FFQB - Frank Nunes

9. Commando Fro - Christopher Hart & Tobin Biolchini - The Mirage Invitational Champions

10. Fantasy Smurfs - Christian Wareikis

11. War Kittens - John Duckworth

12. Coyote Streakers - Mike Santos

Entry Fee: $250

1st Place - $1,450

2nd Place - $750

3rd Place - $250

Where will guys like Doug Martin, Cordarrelle Patterson and TY Hilton land? How about tight ends like Julius Thomas, Jordan Cameron and Charles Clay? These 12 owners have agreed to allow their draft to be seen here, on our forums:

DRAFT BOARD

This thread will be where ALL the smack talk, commentary and strategy unfolds. Fantasy never dies here at Fulltime Fantasy! I love it!

Good luck Gentlemen (and Lady)

It's an interesting player pool here in January.  I think the second half of the first round isn't nearly as predictable as it was this time last year.  I can think of 4-5 players I would take at #3.  Looking forward to a fun draft.

Hello all, Looks like I am the lone girl in the league. No need to tip toe around me...I can hold my own pretty well. Looking forward to see how this all shakes out.

Agreed, this is awesome.

I was talking to Ian this morning and he commented, "Somebody better take Matt Forte in the Top 5 picks" and bam, Kurt does it. Calvin doesn't surprise me, but I must say, I'm not really ready to see Eddie Lacy up this high (for some strange reason) but after looking at his performance, I can certainly say that he has everything you want in a fantasy RB. I like this draft already!

Sssshhhhh!  Please don't mention names of undrafted players!  Let the record reflect that I was the first guy of the season to say that.  Feather in the cap if you ask me.

Just noticed that Breakin' Ass is from Indy.  What's the deal with that?  She and Scott and Wayne Ellis.  There are six people there and I know half of them!

This draft position sucks...the one girl stuck in the middle. I sure hope I have better luck at my draft position in future drafts.

Was getting excited to see Cobb and Bernard falling.

Unfortunately, they didn't quite make it to me at 2.14 and went at 2.11 and 2.13.

Decided to go with Keenan Allen and to take a chance on Gronk.

RB - Jamaal Charles

WR - Keenan Allen

TE - Rob Gronkowski

Oops!  :D

Yes, was 2.12, not 2.14.

I'll get the hang of this, eventually.  :D

1.1 - RB - Jamaal Charles

2.12 - WR - Keenan Allen

3.1 - TE - Rob Gronkowski

1.5? That's so 2 years ago... seriously though, I like the pick for various reasons I can elaborate on later in the draft.

My ideal draft position? 2,3 or 10, 11. Every year it varies depending on what's out thereRB's were thin last year and no with a lot of offenses going to 2 backs, it seems their value may slip a bit. Thoughts?

My opinion is that for me, a clear preference of ADP doesn't quite develop until late August. I'm experimenting until then. I was mad last year that my early drafts didn't bag TRich. "I want a higher draft pick" I screamed!! If not TRich, I wanted a crack at Spiller. Something about, "carry until he pukes" sounded appealing... Uh huh...

lol, I love that statement "He is going to carry the ball until he pukes"  He must have been puking before the game.

I was looking at him or Garçon. Since garçon went before my pick that made my decision a little easier...

Working on a lot of assumptions with my last two picks as well.    One can predict.  But not always can one predict correctly.   One can always hope.

On a plane home from CA, looking at the draft board. The guy next to me asked what I was doing..."Fantasy Football!" He looked at me kind of crazy. "You're drafting for next season already?" My response... "Of course...you mean you haven't?" Hahahahahahahahahaha. Yeah, he thinks I'm a little crazy....
